Ocean Ridge is a small coastal community along US Hwy A1A. It lies 1.6 miles north of Briny Breezes, 1.3 miles east of Boynton Beach and 4.3 miles south of South Palm Beach. To the east lies the Atlantic Ocean.  In 1931 the Town of Boynton Beach, later re-named Ocean Ridge, was created by an Act of the Legislature of the State of Florida.  Before 1931 it was part of the Town of Boynton, which encompassed the areas we now know as Boynton Beach, Ocean Ridge, Briny Breezes and a small portion of Manalapan.

Today there are nearly 1700 year round residents and approximately 1,000 seasonal residents that call this small town home. Its secluded location and low-density keep Ocean Ridge an unknown jewel on the South Florida Coast.  It?s been said that residents living only a few miles away do not know where Ocean Ridge is located.  Ocean Ridge is a truly charming seaside town
